Foundation Doula Training

This is where your Relaxed Birth & Parenting journey begins. Our Foundation Training is open to anyone who wants to train as a Doula, or existing birth practitioners (including other childbirth educators, midwives, social workers, parenting and family support workers, counsellors and complementary therapists) who want to build their skills and confidence in supporting women and their families.

Module One

Dates: 13th/14th/15th July 2012

Times: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm

Venue: West Midlands.

Cost: £285

Module Two

Dates: 29th/30th September

Times: Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm

Venue: West Midlands.

Cost: £350

Birth Educator Training

You need to have completed modules one and two to proceed to this training. This is an apprentice-style course with weekend trainings. In addition to the two weekend modules you will be expected to sit-in on six pregnancy yoga and birth preparation classes, and one birth preparation workshop per module. This means you must have observed a total of 12 pregnancy yoga and birth preparation classes, and two birth preparation workshops in order to complete the Birth Educator Training.

Combined cost for modules three and four: £795

Postnatal Training

You need to have completed modules one to four to proceed to this training.
