Relaxed Birth and Parenting weekly antenatal classes promote complete emotional and physical health in pregnancy, birth and early parenting. There are a number of classes running across Bristol, as well as Portishead in North Somerset, and Walsall in the West Midlands.
While you can expect some variation in format, depending on the practitioner and venue, most classes have time for tea
and/or discussions, while mothers also often return with Baby to tell their birth story. Each class, however, is very much
a 'pregnancy group', with support for first-time as well as other mums. Many women forge lifetime friendships with those they have met through Relaxed Birth and Parenting.

Postnatal Groups
Weekly postnatal groups for new mums and their babies
• enjoy yoga-based exercises for postnatal recovery
• relax with breath awareness exercises to rejuvenate and strengthen
• learn massage techniques for you and your baby
• meet other mums to share experience and enjoy friendships
Postnatal groups for new mums to relax with their babies with gentle yoga based exercise to aid postnatal recovery. The classes are very flexible around the needs of the babies so feeding, changing, sleeping or crying is all welcome. There will be movement and interaction to entertain the babies
and time for sharing experiences of motherhood with other new mums.
Classes are suitable for mums from about six weeks after birth until babies are on the move! Booking is essential.
